Privacy Policy

LedgrAI (“we”, “us”) is operated by Shlok Goenka. You can reach us any time at support@ledgrai.app.

We only collect what the app needs to function:

• Account information — your email address, and any name or company profile details you enter (business name, GSTIN, address, phone). Used to sign you in and label your workspace.
• Your financial records — the invoices, vouchers, ledgers, stock items, bank entries, and GST data you create or import. This is the core of the service and is visible only to you and members you invite.
• Scanned documents — bill and invoice images or PDFs you upload so the AI can extract their details.
• Voice input (optional) — if you use the microphone in the assistant, your audio clip is sent to our transcription provider, converted to text, and immediately discarded. We do not store the audio; only the text you then choose to send becomes part of your chat.
• Push token (optional) — if you enable notifications in the mobile app, a device push token is stored so we can send the alerts you opted into.
• Technical and security data — limited request metadata such as your IP address is used transiently for rate-limiting, abuse prevention, and an internal audit trail of changes to your books. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

• To provide the accounting features and keep your data in sync across web and mobile.
• To power AI features: extracting data from documents you scan, answering questions about your own books, and — only when you ask an external question — fetching public reference information (e.g. GST rates).
• To secure your account, prevent abuse, and maintain the audit trail.
• To respond to you when you contact support.

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. They process data only to perform their function for us:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting (Mumbai, India region).
• Groq — AI models for document extraction, the chat assistant, and voice transcription.
• OCR.space — optical character recognition on scanned documents.
• Pinecone— vector search over LedgrAI’s own product help content.
• Expo push service — delivery of push notifications, only if you enable them.

• We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
• We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not embed advertising IDs, crash/analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers.
• We do not use your private financial records to train third-party AI models.

Your data is hosted in the Mumbai (India) region. Connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to your books is scoped to your account and company; sign-in is protected with bot-challenge (CAPTCHA) and rate limiting, and changes are recorded in an internal audit log. Sensitive secrets (such as an integration token) are encrypted at rest.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your user record, your workspace, and all of its books (invoices, vouchers, ledgers, stock, banking, GST data, and chat history). This action cannot be undone. If you belong to a shared company with other members, you will be asked to transfer ownership or contact us first so their books are not affected.

You can access and export your data from within the app, correct it by editing your records, and delete it as described above. For any request or question about your data, email support@ledgrai.app.

LedgrAI is a business tool intended for use by adults (18+) running or working for a business. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
