Terms of Service

LedgrAI is an AI-assisted, double-entry accounting application for Indian small and medium businesses. It helps you record invoices and vouchers, scan documents, track inventory and banking, view reports, and ask an assistant questions about your books. It is currently offered in private beta and is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

LedgrAI is a software tool. It is not a chartered accountant, tax adviser, or legal counsel, and nothing it produces is professional advice. GST figures, reports, and AI answers are aids that you must review for accuracy. You are responsible for verifying your records and for your own tax, GST, and statutory filings and compliance. Always consult a qualified professional before relying on any output for filing or a financial decision.

• You must be at least 18 and using the app for a business or professional purpose.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Your books and the documents you upload are yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process them so we can provide the service (including sending relevant content to the sub-processors named in our Privacy Policy). We do not claim ownership of your data and we do not sell it.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for anything unlawful, or to store data you have no right to store.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the service.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service or its AI features.
• Upload malware or content that infringes someone else’s rights.

The app uses AI to extract data from documents, answer questions about your books, and fetch public reference information when you ask about topics outside your own data. AI can make mistakes and may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete results. Review AI output before relying on it. Usage of AI features may be rate-limited to keep the service available for everyone.

As a beta product, features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes but cannot always guarantee it.

You can delete your account and all its data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or is used to harm the service or other users. On deletion, your workspace and its books are permanently removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI output, figures, or reports, or from data loss or service interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
